really good curry

1 can tomatoes with green peppers of some kind in it
1 can of whole peeled tomatoes (but next time I'll use diced, it was what I had)
1 can chickpeas, rinsed, drained
1 can mixed veggies of peas, carrots, lima beans, and string beans, rinsed, drained
part of a peeled apple, diced

1/2 - 1 banana

Trader Joe's frozen veggie biryani

Trader Joe's herb garden salad mix

1 lemon

spices:
Madras brand curry
cinnamon
red chili pepper powder
little bit ginger

I love it, it was really simple to make. You put all the first part into a pot and heat it up on the stove, adding the apple bits last, adding the spices and then covering and put it on low. Then nuke the biryani rice for only 4 minutes in a casserole. Then serve yourself and add sliced banana to the plate and sprinkle some lemon juice on the salad. The only thing I was missing was roti but I guess I can pick some up tomorrow. This turned out really good, I know I'll make it again. It's also really easy and quick. And lots of leftovers.
